Guided by the seasons and a long family farming history we plant, nurture and harvest our own produce and crops so it is fresh as you can get it. We also breed and rear our own cattle. So why not get your fresh groceries from the well stocked Harvest Shop, cheese from the deli counter or award winning sausages from our family butcher.

See all our farm animals and even come to learn how to farm by helping out.

Are you up for the challenge? At Top Barn we love the great outdoors and enjoy nothing more than trying something new, so if you would like to take on a new challenge and learn kayaking, shooting, windsurfing or any of the great activities available at our fully equipped Activity Centre, just give us a call and ask about a taster session. (Also open to experts).

Don't worry if you prefer to take it easy why not visit our brand new Farm Park to pet the animals, play frizbee golf, take a walk or just have a picnic.

Lots to see and do!

At Top Barn there is so much to see and do all year round. Try an exciting adventure activity on dry land, splash about on the activity lake, pet the animals or collect the chicken eggs in the Farm Park. You could even volunteer to help out on the farm to learn how its done.

We are keen to pass on our knowledge and run a number of schemes to help educate and support both young, old and those in need of a helping hand.

The Family Farm

At Top Barn we call on a long family history of farming to grow a wide range of vegetables such as Legumes, Brassicas and Alliums, Asparagus and Butternut Squash as well as the more traditional cereals for supply to many local and national super markets and wholesalers. All produce is quickly packed onsite for freshness. The grass meadows and careful animal husbandry make our Hereford cattle well known for there tasty marbled and tender beef.
